HAVAL H6 HEV sets new ASEAN record, covers 1,242 km on a single tank

KUALA LUMPUR: The bold and electrified SUV, HAVAL H6 HEV, has achieved a new milestone in the nationwide fuel endurance challenge. It covered a total distance of 1,242 km on a single tank, securing a spot in the ASEAN Records.

During the challenge, a total of 38 HAVAL H6 HEV owners successfully crossed the 1,000 km mark without refuelling stops, with the longest verified distance recorded at 1,242 km. This achievement makes the H6 the first hybrid SUV in the ASEAN region to reach such a milestone through genuine, everyday usage.

“This isn’t just a technical breakthrough, it’s a real-world endorsement of how far the HAVAL  H6 HEV can take Malaysians,” said Cui Anqi, Managing Director of GWM Malaysia. “It reflects  the essence of our new direction: to elevate the everyday drive through proven innovation.”  

To mark this record-setting moment, GWM Malaysia has introduced a new brand line for the HAVAL H6 HEV, which reads “Elevate Your Everyday.”  

This recognition will play an important role in shifting focus from traditional fuel efficiency to true fuel endurance. It showcases that advanced hybrid technology not only offers eco-friendly driving but also outstanding fuel range under everyday conditions.
