Hyundai Elantra 2016 and Hyundai Tucson 2016 Grabs the Prestigious iF Design Award

Kuala Lumpur: Hyundai Motors has validated again that it is the nonpareil car designer all across the globe in successfully executing their design philosophy. The South Korean automaker recently received an international recognition for its vehicle designs from the widely celebrated iF Design Awards jury. The iF Design Award 2016 was given to the all-new Elantra and all-new Tucson in the “Product” discipline, under “Automobiles / Vehicles / Bikes” category. This prestigious iF Design Award proves Hyundai Motor’s continuous strive for design and quality excellence.

This was not the first time that Hyundai Motor models were awarded for their great designs. Hyundai has been the leader in the segment at the iF Design Award consecutively for three years with Genesis awarded in 2014 and i20 in 2015. Earlier this year Hyundai received five GOOD DESIGN awards for its upcoming car, the Ioniq along with the all-new Tucson 2016, Santa Cruz concept model, the all-new Elantra and Hyundai's unique ‘Sculpture in Motion’ art installation. Hyundai Motor’s designs was challenged by thousands of leading manufacturers and graphic designer firms from over 47 countries and Hyundai stood out unique among all of them by grabbing 5 titles.

At the iF Design awards, Hyundai Motor’s all-new Elantra was awarded for its evolving design philosophy and refined style elements. The Hyundai Elantra 2016 employs unique fluidic design philosophy that completely embraces the company’s ‘Modern Premium’ brand direction.

iF Design Award recognized the Hyundai Tucson 2016 for its bold and athletic design that gives out a unique SUV appearance to it. The athleticism of this vehicle is clearly evident through its refined, flowing surfaces, bold proportions, sharp lines and the brand’s signature hexagonal grille.

The iF Design Awards have been the most prestigious and widely celebrated awards across the globe for over 60 years. The awards symbolizes design excellence across various disciplines and categories. Hyundai Motor's was selected for the excellence in design by the set of jury among almost 5,000 entries coming from 53 countries involving a very rigorous judging process.
