Isuzu MU-X prices and specifications

Kuala Lumpur: Finally the overall spec sheet of Isuzu MU-X Malaysia has been unveiled. To start off with, D-Max based 7-seater SUV is made available in 2 variants – 4x2 and 4x4. The booking of MU-X opens today ahead of deliveries in May-end.

Irrespective of the variants of choice, Isuzu MU-X is offered with a 2.5-litre VGS 4-cylinder turbodiesel engine with common rail direct injection which delivers a maximum torque output measuring 136 PS at 3400 rpm with 320 Nm torque between 1800 to 2800 rpm. This is coupled with a 5-speed automatic gearbox in manual mode.

You get in hand a plethora of features which include double airbags, front fog lamps, projector headlamps, ABS, EBD, Break Assist, ESC and traction control, On the inside, as a standard you get hold of three-point seat belts, second-row ISOFIX, a leather covered steering wheel with hands-free audio controls and six-way adjustable driver seats. The seats in the second row are aligned with 60:40 split, and the third row seats are fixed in 50:50 alignment. Talking about the suspension, double wishbone suspension is provided on the front and 5-link setup is made available on the bank, in terms of braking – front gets hold of ventilated disc and rear chassis is implemented with solid disc braking.
Isuzu MU-X is priced for the entry level at RM 151,945 for 4x2 variant and RM 164,970 for 4x4 variant which includes OTR with insurance and GST.
