New Isuzu 4S Centre in Balakong by SV Prestige Auto now open

KUALA LUMPUR: Isuzu has added another full-service outlet to its network in the Klang Valley, with SV Prestige Auto opening a new 4S centre in Balakong that handles everything from new vehicle sales to accident repairs under one roof.

Located on a light industrial lot fronting the Kajang Dispersal Link Highway, the Balakong outlet is the dealer’s second major facility after its 3S centre in Puchong, and Isuzu’s third dealer-owned integrated 4S centre in the Klang Valley.

The new facility was officiated by Isuzu Malaysia chief executive officer Tomoyuki Yamaguchi, who said the move is part of the brand’s effort to make ownership more straightforward for customers.

“The opening of this new Isuzu 4S Centre featuring a modern, integrated facility is reflective of our on-going effort to ensure that Isuzu vehicle ownership remains a truly positive experience. By offering a complete range of vehicle care services under one roof, our customers can enjoy the assurance that their Isuzu vehicles receive convenient and comprehensive quality care,” said Yamaguchi.

The outlet carries the full range of Isuzu D-Max pick-up trucks and Isuzu commercial trucks. The showroom itself is relatively simple, with space for two display units, but the focus is on letting buyers properly get to know the products.

Visitors can sit in the vehicles, choose specifications and colours via paperless tools and, for those curious about the D-Max’s abilities beyond the brochure, there is a Virtual Reality simulator that showcases its off-road performance and safety tech.

Round the back is where the 4S part really comes into play. The service centre can handle up to six vehicles at a time, which should help with quicker turnaround for routine maintenance. SV Prestige Auto has also chosen to keep more of the work in-house instead of farming it out.

Apart from regular servicing, the Balakong 4S centre is equipped with its own wheel alignment machine and a full-sized paint booth. This allows the team to carry out body and paint work, including accident repairs, on site rather than relying on external panel shops.

The body and paint section is already recognised by major insurance companies and sits on the panel of five of the country’s main insurers. Approval for heavy accident repairs is still pending, but the company says the necessary equipment and training have already been put in place.

SV Prestige Auto managing director Ryan Tham said the new centre is essentially the result of years of support from both Isuzu Malaysia and its customers.

“Through the guidance of Isuzu Malaysia and the support of our customers, we have been able to consolidate all our operations here into a convenient one-stop 4S Centre. I hope that with our new facility, our customers will enjoy a more comfortable and conducive destination for all their Isuzu needs,” he said.

The SV Prestige Auto Isuzu 4S Centre is located at Lot 1917-B, Jalan KPB 7, Kawasan Perindustrian Kampung Baru Balakong. The showroom, together with the company’s existing 3S outlet in Puchong, is open daily, while the service centre operates from Monday to Saturday.
