Lexus ES 250 Vs Mercedes Benz C200 – Epitome of Entry-Level Luxury

Lexus ES 250 Vs Mercedes Benz C200 – Epitome of Entry-Level Luxury

Taking a brief account on the recently launched luxury drives in Malaysia, straight away, two big time entries of the current time market grab whole attention. The fresh face of Lexus ES250, launched a day before and a little more luxury car, Mercedes-Benz C200 says a lot more about the trending luxury market than one can even assume. Both brags about their special features and advancements endowed by the respective brands to the car. ES 250 facelift model and C200 are expected to cover the maximum share of the Malaysian market leaving behind other grandiose automobile facades.

For comparison, we have selected the facelifted ES 250 variants by Lexus and C-Class's 200 variant, leaving behind Hybrid variant and C 250 variant of the cars.

The Lexus ES 250 is surely not the world's most revolutionary car, not the fastest either. But then again, the all-new Lexus drive was never meant to be either of those. Lexus wanted to present unrivalled value in the premium motoring segment without compromising luxury and it did exactly the same. With this car, Lexus model will not just stand proud and tall, it will soon tower above many of its competitors.

The other discerning face of the battle, Mercedes-Benz C200, adds lots more equipment to lure in new buyers. For parking something in your driveway with a bit of badge panache and without bursting the bank account, C200 model made it possible to get the access to prestige brand like BMW. Even more, despite many rivals in the market, C-Class sedan successfully maintains its “most popular model” position.

When it comes to cars, luxury is never been so easy to attain. So, for the two cars, we have assembled here information that will help you out in choosing the best premium wallet-friendly compact sedan. Both the cars come for less than RM260,00.

The base model Mercedes is a 'crassy' preposition and is a high standard of luxury. It has been the favorite of “The Car of the Year Award” for the drive for last few years. The 7-speed automatic reacts quickly when you are in a Sports Mode but when it is in an Economy Mode, it can be a little bit slow to react. Some of the biggest pluses of the C-Class is that “it is always quiet”. Even on the rough surfaces, it is quieter than most of its rivals and its ride quality is excellent. For the steering, it may not be the sharpest against BMW or the Lexus. It does change directions quickly and also sits very flat to the corners. The interior of the model is very classy with a lot of fabric and leather. The interior presentation is of high-class. Although, there are few little elements that still can't turn a different flair. The Media System is not simple to use nor does it look classy as some of its rivals.

The new Lexus ES 250 facelift is ready to take on the German, Mercedes-Benz C200. The Lexus is the odd one out with its engine configuration, but it is reasonably powerful. Staying tuned to the 6-speed automatic transmission, which does a reasonably good job in many situations. Probably it feels the sportiest among the two. The interior feels plush that means there are leather trim, thick carpet and soft touch points all around the cabin. With the all-over client consumption of 9.2 latest per 100 the Lexus scares off some other good potential boys.

So, which of the compact luxury sedan is the best-buy? Well, not one of them should be ruled out on any particular aspect, each of them has their own premium appeal.

The Mercedes feels more like a classic luxury car, but you do have to pay for the privilege.

The Lexus – It is a royal car with plenty of kits and enough premium appeal to take out this competition, but un rejoiced!

Now the choice is yours.
