Malaysia Autoshow 2019 - Participating brands and more

Starting next week, i.e., from 11th April 2019 is the Malaysia Autoshow that is scheduled to take place at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS). Frankly speaking, we are pretty excited about the show because it has so much to offer. From car launches, car competitions, 4x4 off-road experience, and jaw-dropping offers, to name a few. And given the fact that it is happening at the MAEPS gets us even more excited. Why? Well, it is the biggest showground in the country with multiple halls and huge open exhibit areas. Thus, giving us an idea of the scale of the event, as the entire ground is booked and occupied!

First, let’s start with the brands that will be exhibiting at the Malaysia Autoshow 2019. Though the registrations are still open, here are the brands that have confirmed their participation - BMW, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Mazda, Kia, Nissan, Volkswagen, Peugeot, Proton, Perodua, Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Vespa, and Ducati.

Now, let’s see what else apart from the local and international auto brands would keep you entertained. Included in the list are -

  • Go Kart experience

With so much on the plate, it’s important to know what’s happening where. So, here is the key highlight of the overall layout of the Malaysia Autoshow 2019 -

  • The auto show as mentioned above will take place at the MAEPS from 11th to 14th April
  • The exhibition area includes showground four halls and outdoor area
  • There are four halls in total - A, B, C, and D each designated to a specific purpose

  • Hall A and B will the places where onlookers will get to see all the latest offering from the participating automakers. Also, brand-new Energy Efficient Vehicles (EEVs) can be seen here. According to a rough estimate, over a hundred cars expected to be put on display by various OEMs

  • Hall C is the designated location for the International Automodified (IAM). It is a touring automotive showcase that’ll include all things fun like car competition, car show, and customized cars. Also, the IAM will give the auto show a new perspective by bringing together car enthusiasts with interest to modify their vehicles

  • Hall D or shall we say the ‘MARii Mobility Hall’ will showcase the entire automotive value chain starting from styling, design, engineering and lastly manufacturing. It will also provide a vision of the country's future mobility ecosystem. Also, this is the place to be if you are looking for family activities like skills competition, virtual reality experience, or even a robotics workshop

So, what are you thinking? We think it’s a great show to visit for everyone out there as there something for everyone. And least you can do is get a fabulous selfie with the amazing modified cars!
