Malaysia Autoshow 2019 - All you need to know

Tagged as the country’s first annual auto show, the Malaysia Autoshow 2019 has grown both in size and potential. This now popular event first opened its gates in the year 2010 and back then was held at the Matrade Exhibition and Convention Centre.

What’s the primary objective of the Malaysia Autoshow?

First, to showcase Energy Efficient Vehicles (EEVs) along with sustainable mobility technologies, as the future calls for a shift from conventional to electric power
Second, to promote the local automotive sector by encouraging entrepreneurs and their products and services in the auto sector

This year the theme of the Malaysia Autoshow is - Mobility for All. Therefore, we can expect a wide range of showcasing by the carmakers taking care of the various needs of the visitors. All this along with the showcasing of advances in safety, comfort, and technology of the vehicles sold in the Malaysian market.

What’s on offer for the onlookers?

So much, to say the least. When at the show visitors witness can new car launches, car show, car competition, test drive many new car models, 4x4 road shows, great deals, win prizes and much more. According to sources, many new cars will be launched by the participating automakers this year. Sounds great, right?

The Malaysian Autoshow isn’t only a must visit event for auto enthusiasts and future car buyers, but it is also a great show to participate. Be it local or international auto brand, aftersale vendors, or car accessories dealers this auto show has the potential to take your sales to the next level.

Why do we say so? Well, last year the show attracted around 85,000 visitors, thus giving the participates the much-needed exposure. Also, every year around a thousand plus car bookings are made at the show with the sales value touching over RM 52 million mark. In a nutshell, it's the place to be both for the buyers and sellers.

What about the entry changers?

Onlookers will have to buy tickets worth RM 20 each to see one of the most extravagant auto show of the country. Interested individuals can book tickets online via the official site of the show. Here are the steps you need to follow -

  • Log on to www.autoshow.com.my
  • Click on ‘BUY TICKETS ONLINE’ tab on the extreme top-right corner
  • Specify the quantity and proceed with the checkout

Also, if you book two or more tickets by 10th April 2019, you'll be eligible for 50% off on the total payment.
Note that the tickets can be passed on to your friends or family, in case you are unable to attend the show. Also, in case the event is canceled your amount will be refunded.

Basic info about the event -

This year the Malaysia Autoshow will be held at the country’s largest showground, i.e., at Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS). The show will run from 11th to 14th April with the visiting hours restricted from 10 AM to 9 PM.
