Meet the most extreme Ferrari, FXX K Evo

KUALA LUMPUR: It is not long that we got acquainted with the LaFerrari, which was termed as the most furious of all Ferraris and now, we have a new member in the family which has overshadow the previously available models. Yes, based on the similar platform as LaFerrari, the Italian automaker introduced its FXX K and even deadlier, the FXX K Evo.

The FXX K Evo offers 23% more downforce over the FXX K and whopping 75% more than the LaFerrari. To get the most of the structure, the FXX K Evo uses a twin-profile fixed wing that is equipped to work in accordance to the active rear spoiler. Even the spoiler’s control is retuned to improve the efficiency. The overall design profile is inspired by the Formula 1, GT, GTE and other racing series while the wind tunnel testing and special simulations took a year to get the aerodynamics just right. With this, the downforce of 1,410 pounds is achieved at 205 kmph while it reaches to 1800 pounds when the needle is around the red mark.

Even the side bumpers are altered beneath the headlights, leaving a room for a couple of flicks that is divided by a vertical tuning vane along with an additional air intake slot ahead of the front wheels. In order to match the improved performance, the suspensions are recalibrated and new front brakes are deployed. In the cabin, a new 6.2-inch rear video screen with telemetry, and new steering wheel are introduced while the humongous V12 under the hood unleashes 1036 hp maximum power which is transmitted to the rear wheels.

Ferrari has confirmed that the FXX K Evo will be available in limited stock and just like any other XX cars, the K Evo is also not meant for the public roads. So, the FXX K Evo is not for most of the pro drivers but, definitely for the ones who breathe and dream such masterpieces.
