Nissan Malaysia is offering special flood relief assistance to owners

KUALA LUMPUR: The recent flash flood in the country has forced automakers to initiate relief programmes for car owners. One such automaker doing so is Nissan with its Nissan Flood Relief Assistance programme that has been initiated by Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn. Shd. along with Tan Chong Ekspres Auto Servis Sdn. Bhd. (TCEAS).

Under the said programme the automaker is offering the following to its customers -

• A 30 per cent discount on parts and labour charges (to alleviate the owners financial; burden)
• Special upholstery restoration prices of RM 1,655 for sedans and RM 1,988 for MPVs, SUVs, pick-ups, and vans
• Easy Payment Plan including up to 12 months interest-free instalments on total bill, 6 months/10,000 km warranty on Nissan Genuine Parts replacement
• Free towing service (T&C applied)
• Door-to-door towing service for cars badly affected by the flood
• Collect & Delivery service for usual maintenance service over the weekend

The automaker has also started a dedicated hotline for further assistance of affected owners called the Nissan Customer Care Centre Hotline which one can call at 1800-88-3838. To book an appointment for car service, owners can contact the nearest Nissan Authorised Service Dealer and TCEAS.

ETCM in its official statement said, "We would also like to reaffirm that both ETCM and TCEAS are committed to ensure our customers’ safety and satisfaction are of the highest level, and are working together to promptly address this unforeseen situation."
