2025 Nissan Navara X-Tremer arrives in Malaysia: check full details here

KUALA LUMPUR: Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM), the official distributor of Nissan vehicles in Malaysia, has started accepting bookings for the all-new Nissan Navara X-Tremer. Designed for both urban streets and untamed terrain, the latest iteration of the Navara pickup truck boasts cosmetic and technological enhancements both inside and out, while retaining its proven performance and capability.

Every inch of the bold Navara X-Tremer exudes rugged sophistication, and the credit goes to darkened elements. The key upgrades include -

Interior

Engine and performance 

Under the hood, the new Navara packs the same 2.5-litre inline-four cylinder turbodiesel engine as the predecessor. Paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission, the engine churns out a maximum power of 190 PS at 3,600 rpm and a peak torque of 450 Nm at 2,000 rpm.

Suspension & braking 

The new Navara features the brand’s signature durability and performance. The suspension system comprises an Independent Double-Wishbone with a Stabiliser Bar at the front and a Multilink Suspension with Dual-Rate Coil Springs at the rear. Providing reliable stopping power, even under heavy loads, are front ventilated disc brakes and rear drum brakes. 

Safety

The New Navara X-Tremer comes loaded with Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies, offering protection to the occupants and other road users. These include -

• Intelligent Predictive Forward Collision Warning
• Emergency Braking
• Blind Spot Warning
• Lane Departure Warning
• Rear Cross Traffic Alert

These are complemented by a full suite of active safety systems including an anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution and brake assist, vehicle dynamic control, traction control system, active brake limited slip, hill start assist, hill descent control, trailer sway assist, and an electronic locking rear differential.
