Nissan launches a new MPV in India, the Gravite
KUALA LUMPUR: Nissan has introduced a new multi-purpose vehicle in the Indian market, called the Gravite. Marking a new chapter in the Indian market, the Nissan Gravite is a purpose-built C-segment model that combines versatility, comfort, spaciousness, and practicality for everyday drives and weekend journeys. It will be manufactured locally at the brand’s Chennai plant and will be exported to several countries.

Under the hood of the new Nissan Gravite lies a 1-litre petrol engine that generates a maximum power of 72 PS at 6,250 rpm and a peak torque of 96 Nm at 3,400-3,600 rpm. It comes mated to either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed EZ-shift automated manual transmission (AMT), depending on the variant picked.
The setup is tuned for smooth performance, comfortable cruising, and predictable performance across city and highway conditions, without compromising on fuel economy, claims Nissan.
