Post GST BMW and Hyundai pricelist

Kuala Lumpur: After a long wait, big guns like BMW and Hyundai have finally released their post GST price list for all the drives in its arsenal, and on the big picture, while BMW comes off as a delight indeed, Hyundai comes off as a mixed bag.

Majority of the BMW cars available with undergo a significant reduction in price which include BMW 520d Sport, 730Li, 740i and Z4 sDrive 20i. Newly launched models like 218i Active Tourer, X6 xDrive 35i M Sport and i8 launched after the GST have undergone no significant changes in pricing.

The most significant price change here has come across the most sporty beast of them all, BMW M6 Gran Coupe, which has undergone a massive reduction of RM 19,000 or 1.9%. as is now priced at RM 980,800 without insurance included.

Coming to Hyundai, the despite the normal downward trend of all the car manufacturers, drives from Hyundai are now much more expensive, most of them at least. Elantra 1.6 Elegance makes up an exception recieving the biggest price drop in the line-up measuring RM400, now worth RM 85,928. Grand Starex Royale, the costliest drive from the arsenal on the other hand is now much more expensive and has received nearly RM4600 bump (2-3%) across all its variants.
