Proton's New logo revealed with the all-new "It's in the Drive" tagline

Kuala Lumpur: Proton has come out with a revamped version of its logo design with a newer tagline of companies campaigns – “It’s in the Drive”. The all new Proton logo recently appeared on the official Facebook page of brand in Malaysia.

The latest Proton Logo is tweaked a bit from its predecessor. This time, the Proton logo is in black and silver color with tiger being the major element of it. The “PROTON” text inside the earlier logo is removed and as a result, the tiger has grown in size covering almost the complete ring area with a wider and more bold ring. The brands name “PROTON” with the tagline “It's in the Drive” are now placed out the main figure of logo below it.

Proton has a long history of change in its logos like any other brand. The first Proton logo was a bit more colorful with a different shape and a moon and star inside the body.

Proton First Logo

Later the shape of this logo was changed to the current and the moon and star was replaced with tiger in golden color set up in green background in the ring while blue in the rest of the logo. This logo also went through a change where the colors were faded and a more 3D appearance with shining was given to it.

Proton Second Logo

This was again replaced with the most recent logo, although it was two dimensional and featured the company's tagline “Committed to be better”. Later the logo was made more fluffy with a shine outcasting a 3D look and it also appeared with the tagline “A member of – DRB-HICOM”. But it appears that the latest is the best so far!

Proton Third Logo

Proton revealed the all-new logo on its recent FB post saying, “A new era, a new face. This new Proton logo signals the beginning of a new era for all of us at Proton. It’s more than just a new face. It’s a new promise. A new attitude. A new commitment. Many do not know and have not driven our latest cars. It’s time they did. It’s time they knew who we are, what we stand for and how good our cars really are”.

The “It's in the Drive” tagline is being explained by the company as an enhanced ownership experience. The company also conducted a campaign recently with heavy offers and discounts to promote it's all-new tagline.

His childhood craving for the cars started with Hot wheels toys which led him to create pseudo cars on his own. When people loved playing outdoor sports, Sanchit was stuck to his racing video games hidden in a closet. The torque of his creative writing coupled with his passion for moving machines pushed him into Carbay's garage. Sanchit also wonders's, why is he writing this as a third person.
