• About Mazda Malaysia

  Without a doubt, Mazda Malaysia offers one of the most stylish and dynamic lineups in the local market. The brand offers it all, be it sedans, hatchbacks, convertibles, crossovers, full-size SUVs, and dual cab.  It has maintained a strong network of dealership across Malaysia, including sales, service, body & paint outlets. The Bermaz Motor Sdn Bhd, commonly known as Bermaz, is the official distributor of Mazda vehicles in the country. 

  Bermaz commenced operations in April 2018. It came into existence after Mazda Motor Corporation and Bermaz entered into a distribution agreement on 28 February 2018. Under the said agreement, Mazda Motors gave Bermaz distributorship rights of specific Mazda CBU vehicles, accessories, spare parts, and tools in Malaysia. The initial deal was extended to 3 years (expiring on 31 March 2014) and then for another five years (till 31 March 2019), subject to the annual purchase quota of Mazda CBU vehicles. The core businesses of Bermaz are retailing, distribution, and providing after-sale services for Mazda vehicles. 

  Mazda Malaysia Sdn Bdh owns 30% stakes in Bermaz. It is involved in the local assembly of Mazda vehicles using local and imported parts. It also looks after regional distribution and export of locally assembled Mazda vehicles. 

  Famous for its Kodo: ‘Soul of Motion’ design language and Skyactiv-Vehicle Architecture, this Japanese brand has several best-sellers in the local market like the CX-3, CX-30, CX-9, Mazda 3 Sedan, and MX-5 RF. 

  In March 2020, Mazda launched the all-new CX-9 in the local market. The seven-seat SUV gets several new features, including a large touchscreen, new brake auto hold, i-Stop, and more. At the same time, the automaker also introduced the 2020 Mazda2 facelift in both sedan and hatchback body-style with identical specs sheet. On of the much-awaited cars of all times, the Mazda CX-30 also arrived earlier this year in Malaysia. It is slotted between the CX-3 and CX-5 in the automaker’s SUV lineup. 

  Like 2020, the year 2019 was also a good one for the company’s lineup, as several new models were added. In October 2019, the CX-5 was launched in the country in a total of five variants, and it featured a new 2.5 turbo 4WD powertrain. Giving its sports car range a spin is the 2019 MX-5 RF that features a long list of standard equipment and safety features. The 4th-gen Mazda3 also made its debut in the country in three variants and two body-styles - hatchback and sedan. 

  Mazda Malaysia has been adding new models and, simultaneously, giving a refreshed look to the old ones in its lineup, thus making sure the customers never fall short of options.
