I was looking for a budget-friendly smart EV for a long time and my search ended with the Proton e.MAS 5. The EV looks stylish, packs several amazing features and offers a good driving range, enough for daily commutes and short weekend trips, and all these at less than RM 60k. This is crazy. For someone transitioning into EVs, this feels like the perfect first step, the e.MAS 5 is practical, efficient, and surprisingly enjoyable to drive. Proton has really nailed it. I have booked the EV and cannot wait to get behind the wheel.
