I’ve been driving my Proton Saga in Malaysia for over a year now, and it’s been such a practical and stress-free car to own. What really stands out for me is how little it asks for in return — petrol cost is low, and I rarely worry about maintenance. The engine isn’t fast, but it’s smooth and predictable, which makes city driving easy and relaxed. One thing I didn’t expect to enjoy so much is the ride comfort — even on bumpy roads, the suspension feels composed and doesn’t shake the cabin too much. The interior is simple but thoughtful; everything I use daily feels within reach, and the air-conditioning cools quickly on hot mornings. It’s not a flashy car, and I won’t win any drag races with it, but for running errands, commuting, and long drives with family, the Saga feels dependable and honest. It’s the kind of car that just gets the job done without headaches.
