Toyota recently rolled out its highly anticipated and widely celebrated hybrid vehicle “Prius 2016”. Prius is known to be a messiah of all the hybrids running around the globe representing most “energy efficient” driving for an entire generation of drivers.

The Japanese automaker has keenly listened to the shortfalls of the prior generation car and has improved a lot upon it dramatically with the new model. The 2016 Toyota Prius is said to be offering a re-engineered 1.8-litre VVT-i equipped Atkinson cycle petrol engine with reworked electrical drive components that help contribute to a low fuel consumption of 40km per litre from the previous generation’s 32.6 litres per litre. Besides that the 1.8-litre engine is smaller and at the same time lighter with a thermal efficiency going to be 40%.
