"S-Oil Corporation introduced a Unique Car Parking Concept saving Fuel and Energy"

Imagine yourself being fully decked up for a party or a special occasion containing all the enthusiasm to reach on time although when you reach the venue all you get to discover is a long fleet of cars waiting in a queue. Indeed! that's the most frustrating part of the memory making hours, where you need to tax yourself to source a parking space for your car. Well, the S-Oil Corporation converted this painstaking experience into a creative and plain sailing task.

S Oil Campaign Picture

This idea came into the picture by S-Oil Korea which churned a brilliant concept of saving the precious fuel and time of the residents in that country especially owing to the high population and fuel price (South Korea that is known as the country devoid of oil and with the highest gasoline consumption). With respect to the high population density the car parking, spaces become constrained, where one needs to commute at least 500 metres to locate a space for their car that can be calculated as 15 kilometres per car in a month. That is an alarming number isn't it?? So, with the idea to save the precious scarce resource from the motherland, S-Oil Corporation initiated an “S-Oil here balloon campaign” that suggests that whenever someone arrives at a location to seek an appropriate space to park in the generic scenario it is quite taxing as well as physically draining. Nonetheless, this “Here Balloon” is tied near the stationed cars where it gets pulled down (indicates that there is no space availability in that region), and on the contrary when the car leaves the “Here Balloon” pops up (that is an outright indication that at what all places one can find the parking space). This concept acted as a Saviour in reserving 1 litre of oil per car that in totality 1 day= 700 cars= 23 litres= 365 days=AWESOME!!. This thought-provoking feature laid a footprint on the minds of the consumers and the other major players for setting a tag for itself as being the “Oil Economizing Company.”

In the real world scenario, it takes immense endeavors and tenure to build reputation for any brand/company be it product or service wise, and through this laudable step of “S-Oil Corporation” has not only brought a revolution among the competing oil and gas companies but has also made life easier and much more restful for the travelers. This campaign is unfortunately exposed to the regions of South Korea however, is lucrative enough that it can find its expansion in the different regions if circulated among the unknown neighbouring countries or even through the global Internet power. With the hope to see this engagement in light through initiation by other brands can support the residents of the respective countries to save fuel on a global level.

Henceforth, with this article we can infer that this has been a very successful campaign with strong approach to creating an innovate way of advertising along with making a valued connection with the consumers through the channels of Out of Home Advertising and social media promotion (with special attraction for all the age groups including children who are always magnetized with balloons). Additionally, it is learnt that a brand can make a place in the hearts and minds of the people by solving their real time problems. Indeed this "Car Parking Concept" is distinctive and one of its kind idea.
