2016 Delhi Auto Expo: Audi Gears Up to Unveil 3 Models

Kuala Lumpur/New Delhi: The 2016 Delhi Auto Expo is right around the door and automakers from all across the world are prepping up their models with all glam and glitter to showcase them at the Asia's largest Auto Expo. Well, when we are talking about the Automakers from all around the world, we cannot forget the Germans, Audi being one of the major participant to the Delhi Auto Expo has announced that it will be revealing three of its all new models at Delhi Auto Expo. These cars are named out to be the Next Generation Audi R8, Audi A8 L Security Armoured Car and the all new Audi Prologue Concept.

Audi is all prepared to unleash its flagship vehicles from the motorsport division of the company, all new Audi R8. It will be the second generation sporty spearhead from the German house of innovation that will be showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo. This time the R8 is much faster, powerful and more dynamic from every angle. The car features an all new “V10 Plus” moniker that means that it is exclusively designed to make it race ready. Also the all new R8 will be sharing around 50% of its parts with the racing spec Audi R8 LMS.

The next in line is the Audi A8 L Security, which is closely following the footsteps of its fellow Mercedes-Benz which is launching its MB S-guard at the Delhi Auto Expo. Yes, this Delhi Auto Expo will witness two high quality armored security sedan. The Audi A8 L Security was earlier showcased at the IAA 2015 and is widely popular for its robustness loaded with heavy armory specially crafted for influential and VIP's around the globe. The car is certified to the requirements of resistance class VR9 and is also tested for resistance to explosive charges in accordance with the ERV 2010 guideline. Sources suggests that Audi has manufactured the vehicle under very stringent security environment with heavy supervision in a partnership between the Neckarsulm plant at a secure, top-secret factory. The A8 L Security is crafted with highly tensile aluminum body which has also helped in reducing the weight. The car can handle a maximum payload of 600 kg (1,322.8 lb) at a time which is quite commendable for an armored sedan. Also the entire chassis of the A8 L Security is quattro permanent all-wheel drive and is specifically designed to meet the high security in any adverse condition.

Audi is also planning to surprise the audience at the upcoming Delhi Auto Expo with its Concept marque, The Prologue Concept. The car made its world premiere at Auto Shanghai and will now be showcased at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. It will be infact one of the major highlights of the Asia's largest motor show. The German carmaker is widely appreciated around the world for its lightweight architecture, sportiness and the symbolic quattro® permanent all-wheel drive technology and the Prologue is just another dimension to the family sedan. The Prologue is a completely new segment of automotive technology neatly crafted as a family car. Prologue is been touted to feature very high-end technology with unrestricted everyday practicality. The car will be having five-door along with a completely new operational concept inspired from a digital interaction between driver and passengers. This is surely something new for the South Asian market which also includes Malaysia in line for its launch.
