2019 Proton Exora launching tomorrow

KUALA LUMPUR: Yes, you read it right. Tomorrow, i.e., on 28th May 2019, Proton will launch the 2019 Exora. And we know this for sure because Proton has announced the news via a 26-second long video uploaded on its official Facebook page.

It’s now for the third time that Proton has given the Exora a facelift since its launch in 2009. It is for the same reason that the revisions are not expected to be comprehensive as the video reveals.

Key highlights of the 2019 Exora that the video reveals -

In the video, we can see the 2019 Exora getting a new instrument cluster as can be seen on the all-new Persona and 2019 Iriz. Also, the MPV will benefit from a new head unit with ‘Proton’ lettering on the frame outline (lower section).

Included in the new Exora specs sheet is a new 7-inch touchscreen display system that’s found in the X70. The said system is based on Geely’s Global User Interface unit and comes with 4G internet connection that allows for live traffic update and online music streaming, and voice command system.

The 2019 Exora cabin will get a new part-leather upholstery. The exterior will get a new rosewood maroon exterior finish along with chrome front grille outline.
