Alfa Romeo Giulia Will Be Available In Eight Engine Choices

Kuala Lumpur: The Alfa Romeo Giulia will be available in a staggering eight petrol and diesel engine choices. The company is currently busy showcasing its all-new offering Giulia in its range-topping Quadrifoglio Verde trim, and the official Facebook page of the company has revealed that the customers worldwide can choose from a range of eight engine choices in this car.

Alfa Romeo Giulia is said to receive a 2.2-litre JTDM turbodiesel engine with several power outputs, ranging from 150 hp, 180 hp and 210 hp. All the variants of this car are mated with a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic. All the cars offer a front wheel drive with power transferred to its front axels except the 210 hp variant, which features an all-wheel-drive system.

The car also comes in a petrol engine variant featuring a 2.0-liter GME T4 engine unit with three power outputs. This 2.0-litre GME is no less than others as the engine churns out a 200 hp, followed by 250- and 280 horsepower. Like the diesel, the petrol variant can be optioned with all-wheel-drive.

Last but one of the most heated is the 2.9-litre V6 block used in the range-topping Quadrifoglio Verde trim. This engine is available in both six-speed manual or an automatic combination. Although, the automatic transmission lose out 10 hp, compared to the 500 hp that is available with the manual.
