Aston Martin Vantage F1 Edition in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: The most track-focused Vantage to date is here in Malaysia! Called the Aston Martin Vantage F1® Edition it is based on Vantage and is the ‘Official Safety Car of Formula 1”.

Also, the Vantage F1 marks the automaker's return to Formula 1 in over 60 years and establishes the model as a true sports car. The car sits on top of the Vantage model line and is the ultimate expression of performance and dynamism.

There are several highlights of the Vantage F1 Edition that make it capable of taking on the role of the Official Safety Car of Formula 1. Some of them are listed below -

• It benefits from unique and significant chassis and aerodynamic improvements especially developed by the automaker’s engineering team
• It showcases more character, increased tactility, and expanded outright capabilities.
• It is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine making a new maximum power of 535PS and a peak torque of 685 Nm

• The mill is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission that further enhances the performance with an optimized torque cut during upshifts
• It enhances the driver’s sense of control and connection during downshifts through torque management

• Detailed underbody modifications to increase front structural stiffness for better steering response

Available in both Coupe and Roadster body-type, the Vantage F1 Edition is offered in several unique color palettes and trim options. The car is offered in the brand’s Racing Green tone along with Jet Black and Lunar White tones (both in Satin and Gloss finish); all complemented by a Solid Matte Dark Grey racing graphic. As for the cabin, it features new Obsidian Black Leather and Phantom Grey Alcantara upholstery and trim, with contrast stripe and stitching (Lime Green, Obsidian Black, Titanium Grey, or Spicy Red).
