Audi Q5 Sport 2.0 TFSI Quattro launched in Malaysia for RM 339,900

KUALA LUMPUR: Audi organised an event to showcase and pre-book the second-gen Q5 in December last year. It has now launched the SUV with just one variant on offer - Audi Q5 Sport 2.0 TFSI Quattro.

The Audi Q5 Sport 2.0 TFSI Quattro is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine, which is capable of delivering a maximum power of 252 hp along with a peak torque of 370 Nm. The power is sent to all the four wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch S Tronic transmission. However, you can also run it on the front-wheel-drive mode using the decoupler provided at the rear axle to get better efficiency.

The engine can hit a top speed of 237 kmph and it takes just 6.3 seconds to speed up from 0 to 100 kmph. The car offers a mileage of 13.5 kmpl. The new Q5 gets a passive suspension having damper control and progressive steering. Along with the powertrain, this setup is also linked to the car’s Audi drive select interface.

Design-wise, the Q5 Sport 2.0 TFSI Quattro specs sheet features LED setup on headlamps, daytime running lights, combination taillights etc. Rear-view camera has been provided as a part of the Parking aid plus. It also gets auto-dimming side mirrors that lessen stress on the eyes caused by high-beam headlights of the cars behind you.

Inside the cabin, the car gets sports seats and four-way lumbar support in the front row. All the seats get leather and leatherette touch having Aluminium Rhombus inlays. The interior gets a lot of equipment including Audi smartphone interface, three-zone climate control system, MMI navigation plus, leather-wrapped three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, Audi Sound System, Audi connect, Ambient Light package, Audi virtual cockpit, keyless entry/start, etc. Speaking of the safety features, it has six airbags, Hold assist, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and, tyre pressure monitoring system.

 

Audi Q5 Sport 2.0 TFSI Quattro is available in Malaysia with a price tag of RM 339,900 without insurance. Color options include Manhattan Grey Metallic, Mythos Black Metallic, Matador Red Metallic, Azores Green Metallic, Quantum Grey Metallic, Java Brown Metallic, Daytona Grey Pearl, and Floret Silver Metallic.
