Chery Malaysia shows its relentless pursuit of quality assurance before delivery

KUALA LUMPUR: Chery Malaysia has always been dedicated to offering superb ownership experiences to its valued customers. Showcasing its commitment to excellence and top-notch quality services, it has successfully completed the first batch of pre-delivery inspections at its CKD plant in Kulim. 

The company says this “significant milestone underscores Chery Malaysia’s dedication to ensuring an unparalleled ownership experience for its valued customers.” In a statement, Chery Malaysia said integrating PDI procedures into the production lines can greatly improve its local assembly programme.

“This success is the peak of the hard work and untiring efforts of the entire Chery Malaysia assembly team in the CKD plant; we will continue to push and deliver to set new industry standards to meet the international quality levels,” said Chery Malaysia Executive Vice President Leo Chen.

In July, Chery Auto Malaysia Sdn Bhd launched the Omoda 5 and Tiggo 8 Pro sports utility vehicles, making a solid re-entry in the local market. The Tiggo 8 Pro comes in a single variant, and its on-the-road price without insurance is around RM 159,800. It’s an ideal option for entrepreneurs, elites, and style-conscious individuals. On the other hand, the smaller Omoda 5 is available in an entry-level C-variant at a starting price of around RM 108,800. It also has a range-topping H-variant priced at around RM 118,800.

Both these vehicles have received a warm reception, with over three thousand bookings in just ten days since its launch.
