China gets the all-new Zeekr X luxury EV, check the details

KUALA LUMPUR: Geely’s luxury arm, Zeekr, has finally introduced its much-awaited EV, the Zeerk X, in its homeland China.

    Powertrain configuration

    The all-new Zeekr X is offered in two motor setups, single rear-mounted and dual with additional front-mounted motors, depending on the variant. Individually, the former makes 271 PS and the latter 156 PS of power. Their combined output stands at 427 PS.

    The Zeekr X motor is powered by a 66 kWh battery pack which offers a range of up to 560 km.

    The new Zeekr X showcases the company’s best shot at car design and it really reflects both on the outside and inside. The car comes loaded with features such as -

    • Horizontal LED light bar with the Zeekr logo emblazoned across at the rear

    • A 14.6-inch display with infotainment, climate control, and navigation features

    In China, the Zeekr X will go up against the likes of Volkswagen ID.4 X and Smart #1.

    Zeekr in Malaysia

    Zeekr is set to enter the Malaysian market as a part of MITI’s investment mission to China. The arrival of Zeekr EVs was announced on Smart Malaysia’s Facebook handle, which will happen after the smart brand's debut in Malaysia.
