Citroën Grand C4 SpaceTourer launched in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Naza Euro Motors has introduced the new Citroën Grand C4 SpaceTourer in Malaysia with a price tag of RM149,888 (on-road price, without insurance). This facelifted seven-seater MPV, formerly known with the ‘Picasso’ suffix, comes with an array of equipment additions and style updates.

The vehicle continues to draw its power from a 1.6-litre THP petrol powertrain, generating a maximum of 167 PS and churning out 240 Nm of torque. The engine is coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission. Citroën Grand C4 SpaceTourer enjoys impressive fuel consumption that is rated around 17.2 kmpl.

Buyers have four colour options to select from – Lazuli Blue, Ruby Red, Polar White and Onyx Black. The Malaysian-spec rides on 17-inch ‘Boa’ alloy wheels. The rear portion of the vehicle remains more or less the same. The front bumper has been redesigned and now comes with two distinct air inlets. The sculpted LED DRLs are still available and harmoniously blend with the extended edges of the Citroën logo. Placed below the DRLs are the bi-xenon headlights accompanied by the redesigned clusters.

Inside the cabin, you get 12-inch digital instrument positioned above a seven-inch touchscreen digital infotainment system with support for Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and MirrorLink, reverse camera, 360-degree surround view system, a hands-free powered tailgate etc. Temperature control system inside is quite impressive with dual-zone advanced automatic climate control system in the front row and air vents for the second & third rows.

Much attention has been paid to the safety by including features like Speed Limit Recognition; Anti-lock Braking System with BA and EBD, ESC with traction control, Driver Attention Alert, Hill Start Assist, six Airbags, and Active Safety Brake effective up to 30 kmph speed. Plus, one also has in the second row, three Isofix child seat mounting points.

Citroën Grand C4 SpaceTourer further offers its buyers a five-year/120,000-km warranty, round the clock roadside assistance, three years of free service, and access to the Sky Lounge (Subang Skypark).
