Dynamic design

Large touchscreen infotainment system

Located at the centre of the dashboard is an 8-inch TFT LCD touchscreen infotainment system. The dual zone climate control system in the S-Max is very strong and works brilliantly. This temperature control system improves the overall user experience of the car. Ford has taken care of the comfort of the 2nd-row passengers as well by providing rear AC vents.

Engine

Under the hood of the Ford S-Max is a 2.0-litre EcoBoost engine that has been tuned to churn out a max power of 240 PS at 5500 revs and generate 345 Nm of peak torque at 2300 to 4500 revs. These are some healthy figures that should easily carry this almost 1.8-ton vehicle along with the passengers and cargo. The EcoBoost engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox with Ford’s SelectShift.
