Get better fuel economy with Shell's new and improved FuelSave 95

KUALA LUMPUR: The type of fuel we put into our vehicles has a critical impact on performance, fuel efficiency, and emissions. Keeping that in mind, Shell Malaysia introduced a new and improved Euro 4M RON 95 petrol, called FuelSave 95. The company claims that this new fuel offers up to 15 km of extra range per tank.

Now available at all Shell petrol stations across the country, the fuel has been formulated after five years of extensive research and testing by 150 fuel scientists.

Alongside offering the extra range, the new Shell FuelSave 95 also brings the following advantages to the table -

• It deep cleans the vehicle’s engine thanks to the New Generation Deposit Targeting Technology, which effectively targets and removes carbon deposits from around intake valves and fuel injectors

• It also promises two layers of protection against corrosion and deposit build-up; no matter what the operating conditions are, the engine will give you the drive you need
• It is a fuel for all, which means Shell’s New + Improved Shell Fuelsave 95 is compatible with both older and newer engines as well as hybrid engines

Upon launching the new fuel, Seow Lee Ming, General Manager of Mobility, Shell, Malaysia commented, “Shell continuously strives to innovate and enhance our offerings for the benefit of our customers.”

In conjunction with the launch of the new fuel, the company also rolled out a ‘Shell FuelSave 95 Challenge 2023.’ The contest offers a cash prize of RM 20,000 to that one Malaysian who will clock the best fuel economy with the brand’s latest FuelSave 95. 

Also, in association with VISA and BonusLink, Shell offers you a chance to win 15 months of free fuel. For this, you just have to buy FuelSave 95 fuel worth RM 50 between March 1 and April 30 this year. A total of 150 Malaysians will be rewarded nationwide under this scheme.
