Get up to RM 6,000 cash rebate on Ford Ranger Raptor and WildTrak

KUALA LUMPUR: The sole distributor for Ford cars in Malaysia, Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC) has come up with new exciting offers on the purchase of two Ford Ranger models - Raptor and WildTrak. The offer comprises cash rebates of up to RM 6,000 on the 2020 model year of the said Rangers, while stock lasts.

More specifically, the Ranger Raptor is offered with a cash rebate of up to RM 5,000, and at the same time, customers can get a full debate of RM 6,000 on the new WildTrak.

Talking about the models, the tough built Ford Ranger WildTrak is powered by a 2.0L Bi-Turbo engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. It comes with an extensive pack of smart safety technological bits, mostly first and only-in class. It includes Autonomous Emergency Braking with Vehicle and Pedestrian Detection, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, and Semi-Automatic Parallel Parking. 

The pickup delivers a robust performance and adds a new refinement level to the vehicle, which is never seen before in the pickup truck category. Other strong points are 800 mm water wading capability, 3,500 kg towing capacity, and payload of 1,000 kg.

Moving to the Ranger Raptor, it comes with Ford’s Performance DNA that exceeds expectations and sets a new benchmark as the first and only factory-built performance pickup truck in the country. The performance credentials are given to race-bred suspensions, and Fox Racing Shox, which provide higher damping forces at full bounce and enable better off-road capabilities. 

Powering the Ranger Raptor is a 2.0 litre EcoBlue twin-turbocharged four-pot diesel mill sending 213 PS of maximum power and 500 Nm of peak torque to all four wheels via a ten-speed automatic transmission.

The Ranger Raptor is also equipped with six pre-set driving modes under its Terrain Management System (TMS), which includes the exciting Baja mode, inspired by Mexico’s famous Baja Desert Rally, and enables ultra-responsive, high-speed off-road performance.
