
KUALA LUMPUR: BMW Malaysia has partnered with JomCharge, a local charging network operator. Together the two have introduced BMW Charging, an amazing one-time offer for BMW EV owners.
BMW Group Malaysia’s Head of Corporate Communications and Sustainability, Sashi Ambi said, “An integral part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen the electromobility landscape in Malaysia are our strategic partnerships with industry leaders in the charging infrastructure for EVs such as JomCharge, as well as ChargEV and Tenaga Nasional Berhad in the coming months.
“With our shared goals and diversified expertise, we are bringing more key infrastructure and access to these charging platforms to our ever-growing community of existing and potential EV owners here.”
Available at a one-time fee of RM 640, the BMW Charging package is valid for a year from the month of registration/until the credit runs out.

Post the expiry of the BMW Charging package, the BMW and MINI customers will continue to use the JomCharging network on a standard pay-per-use basis.

BMW Malaysia’s charging network
The BMW Group Malaysia has provided its owners access to over 550 charging stations nationwide, mainly powered by ChargEV, Jom Charge, and Gentari. In addition, over 80 BMW i charging facilities are available at almost all BMW and MINI dealerships nationwide.
