Luxury fleet worth RM 6.5 Million set ablaze by Arsonists
A Bahrain Sheikh revealed that his building full of luxury cars was torched by arsonists, causing a mammoth damage of £1million, equal to RM6.5 Million, including major supercars like Lamborghini Hurucan, Rolls-Royce Phantom and a Rolls Royce Ghost.
It takes a lot of pain to own a luxury car and it is highly disturbing to see many of them being torched simultaneously to savour the bitter taste of vengeance.
The Sheikh reported that the building full of supercars was allegedly broken into by five people using an industrial grinder to make their entrance. Another point to consider in this story is that, only two cars among the 18 were owned by the Sheikh, remaining models belonged to local businesses, including VIP Chauffeurs, who lost a £205,000 Lamborghini amongst other vehicles.
Sheikh Mohammad said in a press release: It is tragic. They have done this for no apparent personal gain. ‘My father was extremely upset and that is something no son wants to see.’ He added that he believes the attack ‘was not random’.‘Was it someone with a grudge? Maybe. He also added bitterly that: “The people who did this are barbaric, no other word for it. What have they gained through the heartache they have caused? “And it doesn’t just stop with the fire. I have to re-evaluate everything because of the sheer carnage that has been caused.”
Sheikh Mohammad took possession of this doomed building in 2013 and has spent £195,000 so far on it, which includes installation of a new £195,000 roof which is now completely destroyed. A forensic team has been set up to investigate the scene and try to identify the hooligans who created this abhorrent mess.
The dramatic gallery includes the pictures of the charred remains of £205,000 Lamborghini, which was destroyed beyond recognition, a Rolls-Royce Phantom which was believed to be worth £150,000 along with a Rolls-Royce Ghost.
A list of 18 cars, victims of this tragedy includes a Mercedes, a Hummer, BMWs and limousines, claiming a heavy price tag of around £600,000.
