MAS 2025: Jaecoo Malaysia refreshed brand identity ‘OMODA ꟾ JAECOO’; OMODA C7 Neo Crossover preview & more

KUALA LUMPUR: It is JAECOO’s first time at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025, and the brand decided to make its first appearance memorable by revealing its refreshed brand image. The brand hereafter will be recognised and known as OMODA ꟾ JAECOO.

OMODA ꟾ JAECOO Vice President, Emily Lek, during the unveiling at MAEPS, Serdang, said, “This brand refresh signals our optimism for the market and the growth opportunities here. OMODA C7 Neo Crossover preview

It was not just about introducing its new brand identity, but OMODA ꟾ JAECOO also previewed its latest creation at the MAS 2025, the OMODA C7 Neo Crossover. Though not much is known about the car at the moment, the C7 is expected to stir Malaysia’s C-segment crossover market with its design and tech.

OMODA ꟾ JAECOO organised a special knowledge sharing season that features Dr. David Xianqiang Lu, Chief Engineer of Product Development Management at Chery Automobile Co. Ltd. and Director of Pre-research and Vehicle Architecture Institute. He is best known as the architect behind the Super Hybrid System (SHS). This session aimed to share the endless possibilities of New Energy Vehicle (NEV) - the more efficient, sustainable and intelligent mobility solutions.

For those who don’t know SHS, it was introduced in Malaysia with the launch of J7 PHEV wherein it delivers the best of both worlds - performance and efficiency. Further, the brand has been putting more and more vehicles with SHS on test both locally and globally.
