Mercedes-Benz Malaysia opens new charging hub at Bamboo Hills

KUALA LUMPUR: From battery-powered cars to charging stations, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia is committed to building a complete EV ecosystem in the country. In its recent endeavour, the company has teamed up with DC Handal to launch a new EV charging hub at Bamboo Hills, Kuala Lumpur.

This move reinforces the brand’s commitment to strengthening its nationwide charging infrastructure while supporting Malaysia’s transition towards sustainable mobility.

Mercedes-Benz charging Hub at Bamboo Hills

• Mercedes-Benz has collaborated with Hap Seng Star, one of its key retail partners, to set up this hub.
• It features two AC chargers with a prominent three-pointed Star motif in the background. 
• The brand’s latest charging hub brings sustainable mobility closer to customers and combines charging access with one of Kuala Lumpur’s most vibrant lifestyle destinations, making EV ownership more convenient and enjoyable.
• The Bamboo Hills is Mercedes-Benz’s sixth branded charging location in the country. It is part of the company’s wider charging ecosystem, extending from home installations to retail outlets, lifestyle destinations and mobile charging services.

Looking ahead

The automaker will continue to expand its charging footprint in association with its retail partners. It aims to roll out new charging hubs nationwide by the end of 2025.

Mercedes-Benz’s EV lineup in Malaysia includes a total of 11 EVs, including the G 580 with EQ Technology. With this wide range of eco-friendly premium models, the brand enables buyers to choose the electrified mobility option that best suits their lifestyle.
