The Mitsubishi Triton is infused with the automaker’s legendary off-road DNA, which translates into an advanced two-stage turbocharged technology. The first stage utilises High-Pressure Turbo to ensure quick air intake at low RPM, and the second stage is activated via Low-Pressure Turbo, taking over at higher RPMs. Overall, its 2.4-litre two-stage turbo engine with clean diesel tech pumps out a maximum power of 204 PS along with a peak torque of 470 Nm.
In addition to this, the Triton is blessed with motorsports-derived handling that offers absolute control to your fingertips, all thanks to inclusions like -
- Super Select 4WD-II with four selectable modes that deliver stability on wet surfaces and outstanding cornering performance on dry pavement
- 7 Drive Modes, including Mitsubishi's special Gravel Mode that allows for max speed on slippery/gravel surfaces
- Active Yaw Control (AYC) helps drivers precisely handle the car on slippery surfaces
- Active Stability & Traction Control (ASTC) maintains vehicle stability and optimises traction by applying brake force to spinning wheels as needed
- Active Limited Slip Differential (Brake Control Type) prevents wheel spin on slippery roads by applying the brake, thus ensuring better road grip & control
- Hill Descent Control (HDC) applies brakes and maintains traction when travelling downhill
