Netherlands Gets The First Porsche Classic Centre in Gelderland

KUALA LUMPUR: Netherlands has got its first Porsche Classic Center today, outside of Arnhem – The capital of the province of Gelderland. The new classic centre will provide support for not only the vintage sports cars but also the current models. This the first time that service, workshop and sales dedicatedly for the Porsche Classic Cars have been brought under one roof, with a few more Certified Porsche Classic Centers to be opened around the world.

Due to the fact that over 70% of classic cars ever produced from Zuffenhausen are still running today, Porsche has planned to establish an international dealer and service network of around 100 Porsche Classic Centres to be opened by 2018. All these centres will provide support for vintage sports cars as well as the current models and will be certified as Porsche Classic Partners.

The services of the Certified Porsche Classic Partners will not only include the supply of 52,000 original spare parts and complete/partial overhauls but also the repairs, maintenance, and sales of classic cars. Currently, there are 24 Certified Porsche Classic Partners across the globe, with ten of them are present in the Germany alone while others are located in Estonia, France, United Kingdom, Italy, Japan, Hungary, South Africa, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates.

Porsche is planning to develop new Classic Centres in few more countries including Australia, Belgium, Canada and the U.S.A. The technicians of the new Porsche Classic Centers have completed special training, tailored particularly for Porsche Classic Cars. Also, they will be equipped with special tools and model-specific repair instructions so that the German automaker can Guarantee the highest level of service to the owners of its Vintage cars.
