New GAC, Aion 3S facility opens in Penang

KUALA LUMPUR: The official distributor of GAC and Aion cars in Malaysia, WTC Automotif (WTCA), has opened the doors of a new 3S centre in Bayan Lepas, Penang. Strengthening the brand’s presence in the country, this new facility aims to offer a premium ownership experience to new and existing customers. 

AION Bayan Lepas 3S Centre: Key highlights

• Operated by WariTan Automobile, the 3S facility incorporates a 2,045-sq ft showroom and a 5,897-sq ft service centre.
• The showroom displays the full range of GAC and Aion models, allowing visitors to check the vehicles up close in a comfortable setting. 
• The service centre, on the other hand, features 10 fully equipped service bays with certified technicians & a comprehensive inventory of genuine spare parts. The latter ensures that repair and maintenance are carried out with original components only, offering optimal performance and reliability.

• A 7kW EV charger for convenient on-site charging is also available at the AION Bayan Lepas 3S Centre.
• For customers waiting for their vehicles to be serviced, the facility includes a customer lounge equipped with Wi-Fi and light refreshments,

Showroom	8.30 am - 7.00 pm (Monday to Friday) 9.00 am - 6.00 pm (Saturday, Sunday and public holidays)
Service centre	8.30 am - 5.00 pm (Monday to Saturday)

GAC and Aion cars in Malaysia

WTC Automotif offers the GAC GS3 Emzoom SUV in three CKD variants - Standard, Exclusive, and Premium-R. The pricing and key specifications are as follows -

Aion ES	RM 106,800	It is powered by a single front-mounted electric motor generating 136 PS and 225 Nm.  The motor is fed by a 55.2 kWh LFP battery that offers a WLTP-claimed driving range of 364 km.
