A total of 33 Proton S70 owners took part in the 110 km route that covered the island, mainland, and both Penang bridges.
Flagged off by YB Wong Hon Wai, Penang EXCO for Tourism and Creative Economy and state assemblyman for Paya Terubong, participants started from Setia Sentral Juru before heading to Bayan Lepas and George Town via the Second Penang Bridge, returning through the First Bridge to complete the loop.
All vehicles were filled to the brim and sealed prior to departure to ensure fairness. Drivers were required to maintain a minimum average speed while practising efficient driving techniques to record the lowest fuel consumption.
