Subaru Track Day 2025: A community of drivers, one circuit, and 185 cars strong
KUALA LUMPUR: The roar of boxer engines echoed through the Sepang International Circuit as more than 185 Subaru owners took to the tarmac for this year’s Subaru Track Day—an event that’s become a grassroots celebration of the brand and its tight-knit community.
KEY TAKEAWAYS

Over 185 Subaru owners joined the event at Sepang International Circuit, many with their families and friends, making it one of the largest community-led Subaru gatherings to date. What were the main activities at Subaru Track Day 2025?
The event featured open track sessions, a Time Attack challenge, high-speed taxi rides, test drives of the BRZ, WRX, Forester, and XV, and a Subaru-only Parade Drive involving all 185 cars.Organised with the spirit of accessibility and camaraderie in mind, the event drew a diverse crowd of owners, many bringing along their families and friends.

This wasn’t just about going fast. It was about creating a space for owners to enjoy their cars, safely and freely, while building lasting connections.
Motor Image Malaysia played a key role as one of the event’s main backers. Other contributors included SBR Technic, Hardex (Eximius Lubricants), OM System, C&H Auto Garage, ZBOM Kitchen Cabinets, Recaro, GRZ Club Malaysia, Subaru XV Club Malaysia, V11 Malaysia Club, PIAA, THONG Motor, Millers Oils, Kegani Racing Academy, and Whiteline.
Highlights of the day included GRZ Club’s open track sessions, a closed-door Time Attack run, and the fan-favourite “No Stress” and “No Chill” driving slots—open to owners who just wanted to enjoy their cars without the stopwatch looming. The Subaru-only Parade Drive capped it off with a dramatic sight: 185 Subarus circling the Sepang track in formation.
Beyond the owners’ activities, the event welcomed non-owners too. Guests could jump in for high-speed taxi rides or test drive a range of Subarus including the BRZ, WRX, Forester, and XV—all prepped by Motor Image for circuit duty.
To ensure safety and performance, Yokohama supplied the tyres for Motor Image’s fleet, while Motul’s 300V engine oil powered the track cars. Meanwhile, Blue Chem contributed fuel system cleaner products to owners driving their own cars, bundled as part of the event goodie bag.
While the slogan “One Life. One Subaru.” was ever-present, the event itself made the point even clearer: the Subaru ownership experience isn’t just about AWD, rugged builds, or handling—it’s about the people behind the wheel and the community they form.
Subaru Track Day 2025 wasn’t just another day at the circuit. It was a reminder that every drive, even off the clock, can still be part of something bigger.
