Jetour T1 SUV teased in Malaysia; debut just two days away

KUALA LUMPUR: Following the launch of the T2 rugged SUV last month, Jetour Malaysia is now gearing up for its next big reveal. The Chinese automaker has begun a teaser campaign for an upcoming model, set to be unveiled this week at the Penang Autoshow 2026.

While Jetour fails to disclose the model’s name, the teaser sketches clearly suggest that it is none other than the Jetour T1 SUV.  It is a stylish and capable “light off-road SUV”  that meets the rising need for multi-functional vehicles.

Let’s take a look at the global specifications of the Jetour T1 to get an idea of what this adventure-ready SUV has to offer.

Jetour T1: What to expect?

Size and road presence

The T1 measures 4706 mm in length, 1967 mm in width, and 1845 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2810 mm. These dimensions place the upcoming Jetour model in the mid-size SUV segment, giving it a strong road presence and generous cabin space. 

Rugged style with urban appeal

Just like the T2, the T1 also boasts a boxy, off-road-inspired design with upright proportions, muscular stance and bold bumper design at both ends. This rugged styling blends smoothly with urban usability, making it a comfortable daily commuting vehicle. 

Key highlights include - Full LED lighting units, large alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, a powered tailgate, a luggage rack, front fog lights, and adjustable side mirrors with electric heating and automatic folding. 

Spacious and feature-rich cabin 

The outdoor wilderness is paired with an elegant and robust interior featuring a symmetrical T-shaped layout. It houses ‘cloud-like’ comfort seats wrapped in skin-friendly leather upholstery. To create a quiet and serene environment, Jetour has used dual-layer soundproof glass with 79 soundproofing materials.
