Vauxhall Corsa-e Anniversary Edition celebrates the supermini’s 40 years of existence

KUALA LUMPUR: Vauxhall Corsa has completed 40 years in the automobile industry. To celebrate this landmark occasion the British carmaker introduced the Corsa-e Anniversary Edition.

Limited to just 100 units, the Corsa-e Anniversary Edition is limited to the UK market. Priced at £31,000, the special edition model can only be ordered online.

Here are the key highlights of the Vauxhall Corsa-e Anniversary Edition -

Powertrain: The Corsa-e Anniversary Edition features the same engine as the regular model, i.e., a 50 kWh battery and 134 bhp motor. The setup offers a range of 357 km and helps the car complete the century sprint in just 8.1 seconds.

Charge: The Vauxhall Corsa-e Anniversary Edition battery can go from 0 to 80 percent charge in just 30 minutes.

Design: Based on the EVs range-topping GS Line trim, the Vauxhall Corsa-e Anniversary Edition features a new & striking Record Red hue inspired by the original Nova’s Carmine Red tone. The special edition model also features several unique bits like - a sporty black roof, black grille & badges, and 17-inch alloys with matt grey inserts.

Also, all the 100 units feature a numbered plaque on the dashboard with ‘40’ on it; expressing Nova’s long and strong existence.

Cabin: The Vauxhall Corsa-e Anniversary Edition is made to offer passengers a comforting driving experience thanks to the tartan pattern seats, 7-inch touchscreen display, digital instrument panel, heated steering wheel, digital instrument panel, and heated seats.

Driver assistance features: The special edition model gets several driver assistance bits like speed sign recognition, lane departure warning, front & rear parking sensor, automatic emergency braking, blindspot alert, and a reverse camera.
