Driving the Kicks e-Power around Penang for a full day made me appreciate its unique hybrid feature. It still delivers the typical EV vibes, with an instant response when weaving through the town traffic, yet I never have to worry about charging it too often as the engine handles the generation duties silently. The cabin has a youthful vibe, while the seats gave me enough support during my Batu Ferringhi detour. Fuel use stayed pleasantly low despite the constant stops I made for clicking photos and having snacks. I liked how light the steering felt in narrow lanes, although the engine became noticeable during harder accelerations.
