Lots of engine noise, high-road feedback
Using the Toyota GR Yaris on a daily basis comes with a few caveats: engine noise, high-road feedback, and firm suspension. Still, this vehicle’s steering feels alive—it's communicative and precise, giving me confidence on open roads and in traffic. Its braking is quite sharp, enhancing the driving experience. In traffic, this vehicle’s ride quality feels jittery. However, throttle is lightning-quick, steering is surgical, and at high revs the engine thrives. Strong retardation is delivered by even small brake inputs. It's always eager and capable.
