Tons of dangerous malfunctions and recurring issues

I purchased a brand-new Volvo XC40 last December. The car has had tons of dangerous malfunctions including auto stop/start unable to resume the engine after a stop for a few minutes at a traffic light. Another issue was that the city-safe auto braking randomly went off when traveling at around 60mph. This literally killed me. Bringing the XC40 in for service seemed to be a struggle since most of the Volvo dealers do not have loaner fleets, unlike the other leading luxury brands. The matter became worse when the owner support the Volvo/hotline on call did not know anything about the tech systems.
