2018 KLIMS makes a comeback after five years

KUALA LUMPUR: The 2018 KLIMS (Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show) is up for a lot of surprises, especially after knowing the fact that it is held after a long gap of five years. Yes, the last time it was held was way back in 2013, and hence, the re-appearance makes it more special.

This year’s Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show will see the launch of many new motorcycles, commercial cars and concepts, besides just the passenger cars. It will be held between November 23 and December 2 at MITEC (Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre). It will be open for the visitors between 11 AM to 10 PM on the weekdays and from 10 AM to 10 PM. There is a fee that would be charged for the entry, that is RM 20 on weekdays and RM 25 on weekends. However, students and children can do the same for RM5 only. Also, there is a rebate for family entrance (up to five children under 12 years ago), which is RM 40 on the weekdays and RM 50 on weekends.

What’s more? Each of the ticket holders will stand a chance to win a grand prize which would be a Perodua Myvi, Honda City, and Toyota C-HR. Datuk Aishah, who is the head of the Malaysian Automotive Association, has said that that the visitors of the KLIMS 2018 will be a complete overhaul of the previous edition. There are many new attractions like the displaying of the models that are imagined and developed by the university students of the country. Also, exotic vehicles will be displayed, along with specially customised two-wheelers. Also, the longest limousine in the country will be put on display.

The interested individuals can get online tickets from AirAsia Red Tix. Moreover, the people who purchase the ticket online will be eligible to take part in a lucky draw that would have prizes like return flight tickets to Hong Kong, Bangkok, Bali, Jakarta, Shanghai, etc. Apart from this, they will also be eligible to be a part of the draw that yields the grand prize of a return ticket to Japan.
