2026 GWM Ora Good Cat bookings now open in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Great Wall Motor has started accepting bookings for the all-new Ora Good Cat in Malaysia. The updated version of this striking EV is set to bring refreshed styling, comfort upgrades, and most importantly, an all-new sport variant, the Good Cat GT, touted as “The Extra Good EV.”

Let’s check out the estimated price and specifications of the upcoming Good Cat EVs known so far. 

New Ora Good Cat 

• Price: The 2026 Ora Good Cat price is estimated to be below RM 115,000, making it one of the most affordable EVs on the market. 
• Drivetrain: The new EV will come powered by a single e-motor generating a maximum power of 143 PS and a peak torque of 210 Nm.
• Battery and range: Feeding the e-motor is a 57.7 kWh SVOLT LFP battery, which promises a cruising range of up to 480 km (NEDC). The battery supports up to 6.6kW AC charging and 60kW DC charging; the latter replenishes 30%–80% in just 38 minutes.
• Features: The feature kit will include a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, leatherette upholstery, Level 2 ADAS suite, 360° camera, and My GWM (App Support). 

New Ora Good Cat GT 

• Price: The 2026 Ora Good Cat GT estimated price is RM 125,000.
• Drivetrain: The GT is equipped with a more powerful motor, which kicks out 171 PS of maximum power and 250 Nm of peak torque. 
• Battery and range: The battery setup remains the same as the Good Cat.
• Design: Compared to the standard model, the Good Cat GT looks more dynamic inside and out with a sporty front bumper, yellow brake callipers, GT rear spoiler, GT-exclusive alloy wheels, GT sport seats,  suede leather upholstery, and yellow stitching accents. 
• Features: The tech and safety suite will be the same as the regular Good Cat, with a few additional bits.
