Brabus 800 is a modified Mercedes-AMG GLE63 Coupe

KUALA LUMPUR: Many know that Brabus is a well-known German tuner that modifies cars and brings out the best in them. Its latest creation, the Brabus 800 SUV Coupe is referred to by it as the ‘perfect choice for any terrain and any challenge!’

Based on the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S 4Matic+ Coupe, the new 800 SUV Coupe is a pretty impressive performance car with a lot of attention given to its engine.

Speaking of which, the Brabus 800 SUV Coupe is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 mill with an integrated EQ Boost mild hybrid system. The former makes 612 PS of power and 850 Nm of torque, the latter generates an additional 22 PS and 250 Nm for short periods of time. This power allows the car to touch the century sprint in 3.8 seconds and attain a top speed of 280 kmph.

A plug-and-play PowerXtra auxiliary control unit - it provides the engine with new mapping for boost pressure, ignition, and injection. Ensuring maximum power delivery, flawless durability, and emission standards are met. A three-year, 100,000 km warranty comes standard

A Memory System - this one can permanently deactivate the automatic start-stop system, however, there’s always an option to go back from manual to automatic

Boost Xtra option - if you want to blow off the noise of the turbos and be audible when the accelerator is lift-off

High-performance stainless steel exhaust system - it comes with four titanium or carbon tailpipes, actively controlled exhaust flaps that open or shut depending on the mode pickles - Comfort from a subtle whisper and Sport for noise

Aerodynamic-enhancing components - it includes carbon-fibre finish, specified with either matte or high-gloss sealer. It includes the following components - front spoiler, wheel arch extensions, grille air intake inserts, three-piece rear spoiler, and a rear diffuser

Airmatic air suspension - this one comes with a control module, it drops the tide height by about 25 mm

Accessory kit - range of upholstery options from Alcantara to leather, carbon-fiber or precious wood trims, aluminium door lock pins, plus illuminated stainless steel scuff plates, and pedals and paddle shifters
