Brabus Zero Emission tweaks Tesla Model S at 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show

Kuala Lumpur: 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show has seen another new face on the second day of event – Tesla Model S unveiled by Brabus’ Zero Emission division. This Tesla model is up-to-date EV sports version of the car provided with optional refinement for bodywork and interior cabin.

Exteriors of Tesla Model S is given a sporty facelift, specifically onto its front end which is kept smooth edged rather than crafted sharp turns at the corners. In addition, carbon attachments for the side air intakes are provided that give the car a more distinctive appearance and optimise the flow of air to the radiators. A carbon spoiler lip installed in conjunction with side skirts adds stylish accent to the vehicle while reducing lift on the front axle at higher speeds. The carbon bits are permanently sealed with a high gloss or a matte protective coat.

Under the hood, there are no changes implemented to the car. Looking at the performance figures, you may understand the reason about the uniformity of the engine lineup with no changes made at all in the car. The powertrain churns out a maximum power output of 772 HP and sprints from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.0 seconds, which is quite sufficient for the Tesla Model S.

Elsewhere, the stylish 21-inch Monoblock “Platinum Edition” forged wheels, with Y-shaped spokes offer a combination of lightweight construction and strength comes equipped in the new Tesla Model S. For these 21-inch wheels, front tyre size remains as 255/35 and 265/35 at the rear. Tyre material is up to your choice from Continental, Pirelli or Yokohama high-performance rubber.

Inside, Tesla Model S feature stainless-steel scuff plates with backlit Brabus logos and a specially designed centre console for the transmission tunnel with storage spaces for keys and similar items. Even, Brabus’ Model S has cup holders wherein you can store beverages and maintain hot/cold temperature for the same by setting temperature accordingly. For your discharged gadgets, a wireless smartphone charger is provided in the centre console.

All over its interiors, Alcantara leather is used to modernize the cabin and make it look 'sportish'. To which, blue stitching has been done that makeS the cabin space look lively and vibrant. There are also tailor-made genuine carbon and wood trim sets with a variety of colours and surface finishes.
