Check out this custom made Hennessey Venom F5
KUALA LUMPUR: If you aren’t aware, Hennessey started as a Texas-based tuner with its focus on enhancing horsepower and now building its own supercar. Its latest creation is the Venom F5 that some after seeing its specification argue to be a hypercar. Limited to only 24 units, this $2.1 million monster aims to break the record for the fastest street-legal production car.
A unit of the Hennessey Venom F5 is ordered by Howard Panes, a U.S. based entrepreneur and he has a rather striking demand. He has opted for a light blue exterior finish with orange accents along with a custom orange leather interior and black wheel.
As this particular Hennessey will be registered in the U.S. and it lacks full federal homologation, its owner won’t be able to drive it for more than 2,500 miles. Further, it does not include airbags and therefore it can only be registered with a show and display title.
The production version was revealed by Hennessey in December 2022, and Hennessey has already pre-sold about half of the Venom F5. And we aren’t aware how many units are still up for grabs.
Unlike the hybrid and EV, supercars and hypercars of the day, the Hennessey Venom F5 features an internal combustion engine. It gets a powerful 6.6-litre V6 twin-turbo mill making a maximum power of 1817 hp along with a peak torque of 1617 Nm. On the performance front, the car can touch the 100 kmph mark in 2.6 seconds, 200 kmph in 4.7 seconds, 300 kmph in 8.`4 seconds, and 400 kmph in 15.5 seconds. It attains a top speed of 500 kmph.
