To drive this transformation, the automaker has identified six major focus areas, dubbed ‘leaps.’ These include -

    Experience Leap

To mark a shift from single-domain smart driving to full-vehicle intelligence and better safety.

    Power Leap

To move from traditional energy to green and high-efficiency solutions, with a diversified portfolio including EVs, hybrids and hydrogen-powered vehicles, reducing carbon emissions.

    Scale Leap

To expand growth with parallel plans to double sales in both NEVs and overseas markets while developing a stronger product lineup

    Ecosystem Leap

To upgrade the "large industry, small ecosystem" model to a “large industry, large ecosystem” model, and build a coordinated ecosystem spanning users, industry and services.

    System Leap

To shift from traditional control-and-operations management to modern global management, for innovation, talent and management.

    Value Leap

To become an intelligent, low-carbon mobility technology company, delivering economic, industrial, brand and societal value.

    Changan's 3 major plans

Supporting these strategies are three key initiatives - Green Plan, Intelligent Plan and Vast Ocean Plan, which cover the following aspects.

    • Green Plan: It focuses on strengthening core NEV technologies and embedding sustainability across product design, manufacturing, and recycling, supporting lower carbon emissions across the vehicle’s life-cycle.
    • Intelligent Plan: It aims to accelerate execution, delivering ultra-safe intelligent mobility solutions for users.
    • Vast Ocean Plan: It accelerates the company’s global expansion beyond simple product exports to comprehensive brand globalisation and industrial globalization.
