“While market conditions remain challenging, GWM Malaysia remains focused on delivering practical and reliable mobility solutions that meet the real needs of our customers. Our performance reflects growing confidence in the brand, supported by a balanced product portfolio and our continued commitment to long-term value,” said Managing Director of GWM Malaysia, Mr. Cui Anqi.
Focus on upcoming Autoshows
Great Wall Motors Malaysia is expected to get further momentum and increased brand visibility with its presence at the upcoming KL International Mobility Show 2026 and Penang Autoshow 2026. These platforms will strengthen brand consideration, as consumers prefer to see and experience vehicles in person before making purchase decisions.

Strategy for long-term growth
To support its growth plans, the company will continue to expand its dealer network, enhance after-sales services and increase customer engagement activities. As of April 2026, GWM has a total of 39 showrooms across the country and aims to increase this number to 60 outlets by the end of 2026.
The automaker is also working to ensure parts availability and consistent service standards to reinforce long‑term ownership confidence.
GWM Malaysia will also remain focused on advancing its multi-powertrain strategy across ICE, HEV, PHEV and BEV models, supported by a diversified portfolio including Haval, Tank, Ora and Wey.
Chief Operating Officer of GWM Malaysia, Encik Roslan Abdullah, added, “As we move into the next phase of growth, our focus is on strengthening execution, from expanding our dealer network and enhancing aftersales capabilities to ensuring readiness for upcoming launches such as the TANK 300 HEV. These efforts are key to delivering a consistent and seamless ownership experience nationwide.”
